Yahoo! and Symantec are going to give tough competition to their rivals like Google and Microsoft.
Yahoo and Symantec announced that they are bringing a new co-branded Web security service to give security space. Now Yahoo customers can purchase Symantec’s Norton Internet Security for $49.99 for 30-day free trail. They are also providing discount of $20 on retail price.
Yahoo! is offering Symantec antivirus scanning to their customers. The company will advertise Norton Internet Security products through Yahoo! Network like Yahoo mail, Yahoo Toolbar and Yahoo Search.
Symantec is also providing its Norton Spyware for Yahoo! Tools, so that users can make directly link to security services.
