The original Windows Vista Brute Force crack proved nothing more than a hoax when tested by some researchers.
The author had to come in the open and apologize for making the crack and also revealed that it was not functional.
Now another hacker who uses an alias ‘Stof91′ has updated the crack. He commented that:
‘I strongly suggest that you use SoftMod, if you are looking to illegally activate Windows Vista.
(Which doesn’t mean that I’m not against it). I stopped development, and will only continue if everyone stops complaining and if it’s needed, I had a look at SoftMod... and it seems that it’s the way to go... The application will stay online, until it is removed... after that, you can pm me if you want it.’
He offers the crack with a streamlined interface and also provides a proof-of-concept for the same.
The crack works by randomly searching for a legal product key of the operating system.
