
The new .Mac Webmail has been released and comes bundled with loads of new features.
The new features include:
1) Junk mail folder:
This folder is a perfect place to dump all spam that is in your inbox.
2) Keyboard shortcuts:
There are a variety of new keyboard that have been made available in this latest release. Lets take a quick reference of these shortcuts:
View message: Enter
Compose new message: n
Send message: D
Forward message: f
Reply: r
Reply to all: R
Delete message(s): X
Next message: Down Arrow key
Previous message: Up Arrow key
Next batch of messages: Right Arrow key
Previous batch of messages: Left Arrow key
Mark message(s) as read and unread: u
Flag and unflag message(s): l
Move message(s): m
Select all: a
Back to folder: b
Search: /
Print message: p
3) Spellcheck:
This is almost the same as in the older version. Incorrect words are underlined with a red dotted line and moving the pointer above them allows you to change the word with a correct one.
4) Addressing:
This tool makes your Address book appear when you start typing names.
5) Message drag and drop:
This is the same as in the beta version of Yahoo mail.
6) Search:
This includes a new ‘recent searches’ tool so now you need not bother to search the same thing again and again...
7) New preferences:
This allows you to choose from two or a three pane interface, you can also use small mailboxes, show up all the mailboxes and choose whether to load HTML images or not.
