Microsoft’s new operating that will be launched tomorrow will make disaster recovery a more tedious task.
The reason for it is that users will not be able to upgrade to Windows Vista until they have an older OS that is Windows XP or Windows 2000 already installed on their systems.
This is unlike other Operating Systems of the company that can be installed directly using a bootable CD and a valid license key.
Microsoft seems confident that the Vista repair process will take care of any failures in the operating system. But if there is a full system crash then you will have to first install Windows XP and then upgrade to Windows Vista.
This system will be found when users have to upgrade to Windows Vista Home Basic, Premium and Starter Edition.
The system will certainly make disaster recovery a more time consuming and a more irritating task.
