
Software industry is growing in rapid way. Now software is going to do surgery also.
According to US scientists, they have developed a “virtual surgery” software tool, which will create 3D computer image from medical scans.
According to researchers at Brigham Young University, this new software, named Live Surface can visualize structure of patient. Live surface will allow physicians to isolate of tricky anatomy like soft tissues including blood vessels, heart and muscles.
Adobe Systems Corp. is funding for the development of Live Surface software. BYU will apply a patent on Live Surface software and Adobe will give license right to the product.
