TIBCO Software has become the first company to deliver test automation kit to free developers. TIBCO Software Inc. announced that the company has opened its high-performance test tool, named TIBCO General Interface Test Automation Kit (GITAK) to free developers for quality assurance (QA) testing of enterprise asynchronous communications, JavaScript, and XML (AJAX) components and Rich Internet Applications (RIAs).
TIBCO’s GITAK extends the popular Selenium Core test tool for Web applications, which runs directly in a browser with your TIBCO General Interface powered AJAX application. TIBCO offers a comprehensive suit of proven enterprise-class AJAX RIA libraries, visual tools and automated QA test cases and run scenarios of applications. It provides fully automation solution, which enables companies to create their won automated test cases and run scenarios to validate an applications. TIBCO’s GITAK allows developers and end users to easily combine and enhance the powerful capabilities of a service-oriented architecture (SOA) with RIA technology.
Once, you have created a library of test cases, the AJAX applications and changes to them can be test with the push the of one button. The new testing tool reduces the cost and time for quality assurance.
According to Kevin Hakman, director, General Interface product marketing, TIBCO, TIBCO is the first company to launch the first open source testing product. GITAK offers a free reliable solution for automation testing.
