A Canada based revenue agency is testing a software program dubbed ‘Spider’ that will crawl the internet in search for online tax cheats.

The software has been created in Netherlands by Sentient Machine Research and is great for going after online auction sites that neglect to pay their taxes.

Canada is also co-operating with Austria, Denmark, United Kingdom and Netherlands as part of an international tax-enforcement cartel.

Internet is already been a house for companies that are running their businesses in complete obscurity.

The software works by using a ‘Web Identification Tool’ to track the owner of the site and then the data is then cross checked with national databases and tax records.
