Recovery Toolbox Inc. has its new software tool, named Recovery Toolbox for Zip to recover deleted files. The company has developed the software enables users to solve the zip recovery issues and manage their archived data.
The applicants has several heuristic algorithms and methods to repair zip file or recover information from damaged zip files. The new software uses multiple algorithms, which allows the programme to minimize data loss during zip recovery. The Recovery Toolbox for Zip software has following features:
1) It repairs encrypted data from ZIP archives
2) Repair self-extracting (SFX) files
3) Repair ZIP files larger than 2 GB
4) Restore ZIP files from damaged media (floppy disks, CDs, DVDs, Zip drives, etc.)
5) Check file integrity
6) Repair corrupted ZIP archives on the local area network
7) Fix the Cannot open file: it does not appear to be a valid archive in ZIP archive error
The data integrity check ensures that recovery files are fully usable. When zip file is password protected, then there is no problem for Recovery Toolbox for Zip. Users need to enter the password when prompted and the application will make a fix zip file attempt using the specified password. The Recovery Toolbox for Zip software supports the Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000.
