A pirate group named Pantheon has released a genuine crack for the so called ‘most secure OS’ from Microsoft.

The crack allows a pirated and non-activated copy of the operating system to be properly activated and made fully operational.

The crack is unlike other cracks that make use of applications like stoptimer to keep Vista in the grace period always. This crack makes use of the faulty activation procedure to fully activate the OS and also pass all the WGA checks.

The crack revolves around the fact that Microsoft has allowed large OEMs like ASUS to ship their products with a pre-installed version of the OS. These machines don’t even require an activation procedure.

Now the pirates make a change in the system’s OEM BIOS so to make the OS think that is has been installed in a new system of a OEM like ASUS.

These systems now run the OS without any problem and can also pass the WGA check.
