Now, Oracle Siebel Wireless will support RIM’s BlackBerry smartphones. Oracle, software company has announced that its Siebel Wireless will support Research In Motion’s (RIM) BlackBerry smartphones. The Siebel Wireless will bring CRM applications and capabilities to BlackBerry users.
Now, enterprise users can provide their mobile workforce with real time CRM data while on the move. Enterprises using Siebel can push notifications or data to any user through the BlackBerry push based email, voice and SMS text messaging channels. Corporates can use this capability to update their mobile workforce with their sales teams or field service engineers. Additionally, users can access their corporate mail and other applications as well as manage all aspects of customer interactions, service tasks and collaborate more effectively with other team members. IT department can also take advantage of the BlackBerry enterprise server’s over-the-air application management and deployment to simplify integration and maintenance as mobile applications evolve.
According to Mike Betzer, vice president, CRM Strategy, Oracle, BlackBerry wireless solution will enable professionals to stay connected while traveling also.
