Now you would be watching news read by animated characters and controlled by a software. The new system called News at Seven can produce news tailored to a viewers interest.

The user or the listener in this case can enter keywords and the program selects news site RSS feeds to deliver the specified news.

Information in the brackets is turned into something that can be read aloud, and the system can also change the voice from passive to active.

The keywords specified by the user are then used to search for videos from sites like YouTube. Finally the software generates a script from the material collected so far. Then the text-to-speech software does the rest of the job.

Such bulletins will definitely make the children watch news, I guess...!
