Without any hype or fanfare, Mozilla has released their final alpha for its new Firefox 3, codenamed Gran Paradiso.

Though it is a new release still Mozilla has not added much features that the release should boast off. The release is similar to other alphas in which Mozilla has just added some internal tweaks.

According to the release notes of the company, this new release features updated SQLite Engine, support for site-specific preferences, a new quit dialogue box and permanent ‘Restart Firefox’ button to Add-Ons Manager. Other new features include some fixes.

Like all other alphas Mozilla has recommended this release only for developers and has asked Firefox 2 users to wait till October or November for the final release of the product.
