Microsoft has commented that the company will release a starter edition of their new OS called Microsoft Windows Vista.

The OS is scheduled for a worldwide launch on January 30. The company is also aiming to release the starter edition alongside other high-end editions of the OS.

This starter edition will be aimed at lower end processors and will also include some tutorials to cater the users who are using a computer for the first time.

This is not the first time that the company is releasing a starter edition of an OS. It followed a similar trend when it launched Windows XP starter Edition that was initially made available in Southeast Asia, Russia and India.

Vista Starter Edition will also follow a similar path and will be offered in 70 different languages. The OS has been specially developed for low-end processors having a speed of 300MHz.

The best feature of the starter edition is the integration of tutorials that can also tell the user how to use a mouse and perform some basic functions.
