Microsoft is delivering the next version of Internet Explorer named IE7 to consumers through its Automatic Update service. The company is planning to release the final version of IE7 at the end of 2006.
Company will give users to opt in or out of receiving the IE7 release. Company is using same tactics when Windows XP service Pack 2 was released.
IE7 would be available as a free download from Microsoft’s IE site. The browser is currently in its beta 3 release.
The new feature would be available in IE7 supports for RSS feeds, which tabbed browsing and improved security including anti-phishing filter.

Microsoft will release a free ‘blocker toolkit’ that will allow them to shut off the AU release of IE7 release on PCs that have AU turned on. The toolkit they can manage and set the machines not to receive the update if they so choose.
