Good news for browsers round the globe who’re desperately waiting for the Microsoft’s IE 7. It’s now available here for download and that too with phone support.
We’ve just downloaded the new Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 and it’s pretty cool albeit there is nothing special to boast about. Firefox, Safari and Opera will definitely by skeptical as the name Microsoft goes along with it further embellished with features like tabbed browsing, RSS feed support and enhanced standards compliance and security.
As per the IE 7 development team:
We believe that IE 7, even at this beta stage, is a significant improvement and we want as many people as possible to try it and use it. IE 7 is feature complete and has been through significant compatibility and reliability testing. People (especially technology enthusiasts) will have a good experience with it.
It’ll not be wrong if we say that everything has been ripped off from Firefox and other browsers available, but still Microsoft will encash by cutting off the rival’s share.
