Live services program for Windows After Office 2007 Beta, the software giant is offering Live branded online services.



Microsoft is making steps towards Windows to extend its Windows applications. Windows Live ID is a hosted service, which will verify person’s name and password for logging onto Web services.



Now, Windows Live authentication services are designed to work for Microsoft’s Web-based applications like Windows Live Mail and Windows Live Messenger. It will pop up Windows application to verify an end users security credentials.



Microsoft is working on other software development kit, which will be used as standards-based protocols.



According to Windows Live ID white paper, this SDK will make it easy to write new client applications and understand Windows Live IDs and supports authentication.
