Two weeks back Microsoft revealed that it would kill off its Passport system, which it uses for universal web logon. So what happened that it is killing the ambition plan that was rolled on some 7 years back in 1999?
Actually, they’re not really killing it as in killing, they’re just doing something between renaming it and remodeling it. It is now rechristened as ‘Windows Live’ if that missed your attention so far.
Now what do we have? Well, we now have Live services, Windows Live, Office Live, Xbox Live, MSN, and other Microsoft services.
