Windows XP was the first OS by the software giant that allowed administrators to restrict the non-admin users from performing certain critical tasks on the system.

However, the UAC was so badly designed that administrators had to give admin rights to all the users of the system.

This was to an extent cured in Vista as the new OS features standard accounts and not limited accounts like in Windows XP.

But still the User Account Control pops up every now and then that looks even frustrating than the XP UAC.

Solving the trouble is the Lieberman Software. They have developed an application called the Random Password Manager Enterprise Edition, which can provide temporary administrator credentials to the users of the system and disable them after some specified period of time.

That means if the user does something stupid with the system the damage is temporary but it still allows the user to do something stupid...!
