Many of you must have used LimeWire or Bittorrent to search for MP3 or WMA files, but that’s quite common... But have you ever known that you can use to find your favorite song...? I, guess NO...!

However, to tell you a fact, even Google can be used to search for any type of file you want. This feature is not new but is the most uncommon.

To search fro MP3 or WMA files just copy and paste the following string in the Google Search Index and Substitute the term Enigma with the name of your favorite band.

-inurl:(htm|html|php) intitle:’index of’ +’last modified’ +’parent directory’ +description +size +(wma|mp3) ‘Enigma’

With some slight modifications, you can use the same string to search for DOC or PDF files. This string goes like...

-inurl:(htm|html|php) intitle:’index of’ +’last modified’ +’parent directory’ +description +size +(pdf|doc) ‘george orwell 1984″

Or if you have to search for a video file that is a MPG or WMV file then use the following string...

-inurl:(htm|html|php) intitle:’index of’ +’last modified’ +’parent directory’ +description +size +(mpg|wmv) ‘towelie’

Now I hope that searching for a song that’s stuck up in your head won’t be a problem...
