All of you who are frustrated turning off the firewall of the new OS from Microsoft must read this article on how to disable this bugging firewall for ever.
Whenever you try and disable the firewall it comes back again without any warning. Here are the steps that you should do to permanently disable the firewall:
• Start | Run | Services.msc (alternatively: Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Services Management)
• Find the entry ‘Windows Firewall’ | Right-Click it -> Properties
• Press ‘Stop’
• Change ‘Startup type’ to ‘Disabled’
• Press OK and exit
These steps should completely disable the firewall and if you want to start it again then just change the startup type back to Automatic and reboot your system.
