Some new additions have been done to Google’s popular desktop software. The software which is used for easing searching files and web pages has now been made available in twenty nine languages. Along with different languages facility the sidebar of Google Desktop has been redesigned and has most of the features included in it. There is a security feature which previews search results and warnings in case of suspicious websites if someone is clicking on links from websites, documents, IMs etc.
Now your sidebar would match the color of the wallpaper so that it looks to be an integral part of your desktop. Even some of the gadgets have been redesigned so that one can distinguish them easily and face no problems in reading. Since the gadgets are differentiated therefore it helps in quicker information scanning through sidebar and a new dialog has also been created for adding gadgets so that the right one can be searched.
