FreeBSD is always though to have some serious performance issues with MySQL that result in slowing down the operations.

This slowing down is always compared with the performance that is achieved using Linux.

Now FreeBSD has been enhanced so that it can deliver an even better performance with MySQL that is achieved with Linux.

Tests have also shown that Linux scales very badly after a certain amount of threads per CPU.
