eEye Digital security is launching a free version of its new security software named Blink Personal.
It combines multiple applications to protect against theft, worms, Trojans. It is designed to make the PC invisible to hackers through a Protocol-based Intrusion Prevention system.
Other features of this application include a System firewall, an Application Firewall, Anti-Phishing Protection and also a System Control which determines which applications to be launched and which should be discarded.
An optional Neighborhood Watch Program can also be activated which sends the anonymous data to the eEye’s research team who can figure out the attack.
