Microsoft Office 2007 will be released for customers in January along with Vista. But it has already starter to cause some problems for the company.

Office 2007 has some new file formats. Microsoft has pledged that the new file formats will be supported by its other products. To make the documents supported by other OS like Mac, the application requires some converters and Microsoft has stated that they will not be able to release the converters before March or April next year and the company has regretted for the inconvenience caused to the users.

Other product such as its PocketPC and Smartphone devices will not be able to read the data until the middle of next year.

Microsoft Office was released for Businesses last week and they are the people who will be suffering from the delay in the products by Microsoft.

For now Microsoft has recommended that the Mac users should advice their friends that they should save their documents as a ‘Word/Excel/PowerPoint’ document so that they can be accessed on other platforms as well.
