With Microsoft stating that Windows Vista is the most secure operating system that has ever been made by the company, some attackers are already finding some lapses in the system.
Microsoft made operating systems run on more 95% of the computers worldwide and this new offering from the company has suffered major delays to improve security.
Such a product always gains attention from all the hackers who want to establish themselves as security experts. Some are also trying to find loopholes so that they can spread malware and spyware.
Most security experts have also commented that the system is undoubtedly more secure that its predecessor named Windows XP but still some hackers will find a way to get into the OS.
Vista is also accompanied with anti-spyware programs that can control some attacks and the high-end versions are also accompanied with a system called BitLocker that can encrypt all data on the HDD in case of a stolen or lost computer.
Even Microsoft has admitted that though the OS is highly secure it can still be hacked and in such a case the company is all set to provide patches to protect the customers.
The company officials also commented that no code is 100% secure and Windows Vista also falls in the same category. But still the company has done its best and has made a layered security structure in the OS for additional security.
Windows Vista is a program that has more than 50 million lines of code and Microsoft has spent $6 billion in the development and is the first Operating system by the company after the October 2001 launch of Windows XP.
Security experts have also commented that the malicious hackers can also make the use of the vulnerable Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office to launch an attack. So Microsoft has to remain ready to provide all possible support to the customers.
