Apple has stated that it will not be launching its next generation Operating System in June according to the previous plans of the company.
The new operating system named Leopard will now be released sometime in October. The company has stated that the operating system is delayed as the company wanted to release its much anticipated iPhone on time.
iPhone will make its debut on time that is in June. After the announcement Apple shares dropped nearly 3% to $89.50 in extended-session trading.
The Cupertino based company has also stated that iPhone is a host of the most sophisticated software that has ever shipped on a mobile device and finishing it on time was a challenge for the company.
