The latest Macintosh operating system is the Leopard. Leopard X takes OS technology to a whole new level. Recently, someone has posted 10.5 X videos at Brightcove.
These videos were recorded with Ambrosia software’s utility known as Snapz Pro X 2.1.0.These videos give the users a sneak preview of the 10.5 version of the MAC OS.
Unfortunately, it seems like most of the new OS isn’t that ground breaking. It kind of looks alike to other MAC OS’s. There are some interesting stuff.

The Leopard 10.5 version comes with new controls, screen savers, Screen sharing, Safari 3, Stacks, spaces and Front Row 2. There is an array of other new features added as well. These include a new type of Parental Control and and Cover flow.
This version of Leopard X adds a new dictionary application which can search the original Wikipedia dictionary. I think this dictionary feature is a great one. Also, the new VoIP chat feature in this system is a really neat package.
Apple’s Steeve Jobs maintained a low profile at the WWDC 2007 Keynote address as far as commenting on the Leopard X was concerned. According him, he didn’t want:
our friends to have to start their photocopiers any sooner than they have to
Unlike Microsoft’s hype about Vista, Apple is pretty tight lipped about the new Leopard X.
Apple’s Leopard team is probably going to wait out the Vista hype and then break the OS X news to the public in more details. Apple hasn’t released any pricing information on their Leopard 10.5 OS yet.
