
Now readers can easily download e-Books and other digital applications through Adobe’s new software. Adobe has released a new important software application, named Adobe Digital Edition specifically for acquiring managing and reading eBooks, digital newspaper and other digital applications.
Adobe Digital Edition transforms the digital reading experience and offers new creative possibilities for publishers. Adobe Digital Edition works seamlessly with more than 150,000 commercially published titles with the support from Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) and XML based publications. Adobe’s new software enables users to annotate content through bookmark, highlights and text notes.
Its library view offers advanced organization with multiple bookshelves. Its new user interface enhances zooming and the overall reading experience and also supports for the new IDPF Open Publication Standard (OPS) for XHTML-based re-flowable eBooks, guarantees a seamless viewing experience. Adobe Digital Edition is integrated with Adobe Acrobat 8 and Adobe Reader 8 applications, which allows users to install and launch Adobe Digital Editions automatically within these industry standard products.
