Adobe has made all necessary changes and advancements in their cross platform runtime that will completely change the way users use web based applications.
The Apollo Platform will be useful in running desktop versions of the internet applications whether they have been built on Flash, HTML, JavaScript and Ajax.
The Apollo platform will convert the web based applications such as calendaring and email to desktop applications. That will make offline access to the main internet based applications a reality.
The technology will be released in 2007 and many potential developers have already taken a notice of this. eBay is already working on a project called ‘San Dimas‘ that will run Apollo. However eBay has not yet commented on the release of the product.
