
Adobe has acknowledged that there are potential vulnerabilities in its products that are Acrobat and Reader.
The affected versions are version 7.0.0 and version 7.0.8. The company stated that they are currently working on a fix and the next versions that is Acrobat and Reader 8.0 that will be soon made available will be free from the vulnerabilities.
According to the company the problem lies in the ActiveX control used by Internet Explorer. Other browsers like Mozilla Firefox are not affected by the flaw.
For the users of the infected versions Adobe has recommended to manually remove the AcroPDF.dll plug-in file as a workaround until an update is made available for download.
